I also run the rear with the face on the inside and if I remember right I think I run a 335 hub and I'm sitting at 13.5" width front and back.
Links busted.

I may see if I can get Krawl to make me some 3 pc wheels and get the extra offset that way.

There are already 9 paid

Another mod I really like for the Berg supers is the HR 2nd gear. Its a lower ratio and uses standard 48p pinions. Looks like they are in stock in a couple of places now too.

That's good to know thanks!
Got a part # for that?

I know interest in supers in lacking, but before I can bitch I must do my part to raise the numbers.

Those are only the little gears.......you'll use the HR gears to replace the only the big gears.

It gets a bit complicated on what gears to run and how to do it. If you need help on it, just say the word or, educate yourself and start reading here:

To those waiting for the best product thus far, I appreciate it. Good things come to those who wait. 8 grams is a joke, how about more then half your rotating mass eliminated, polished for the smoothest running gear set you can buy, and hardened 4340 leaving strength at its highest!

Sorry for the lame ipad pictures.

Stock gear set (on my scale)

RcBros gear set (one my scale)

That doesn't provide the gear reduction of the larger HR 2nd gear

Berg axles showed up today! Like I said before I have never owned or wrenched on bergs, I must say people are not joking about the ease of working on these things.

They need a screw at the front of the case, I notice some separation, and if you flex the tubes you can see it expand.

There are 4 case screws. Previous owner must have shaved it off. Pretty common to do it for 2.2 rigs. I left mine.

Ah, I see a flat spot on the front of the cases where it must have been shaved.
