So this truck has been in hibernation at the CI lab since December 11th, 2014:

It's turn on the bench has finally come this weekend. The preliminary damage report to the vehicle after it's salt water dip at Nationals 2014 is:
Both esc's dead
Front hitec 7980 dead
One BEC
Front motor seized
Both rear upper links bent
One front upper link bent
And I still have to actually disassemble the axles.

Here's what I've collected for it during hibernation:
Purpmart Titanium upper links, both front and rear
Holmes Hobbies 45T Crawlmaster Pro motors
Holmes Hobbies Dual Mini BRXL's; although one was bad right out of the box, so I had to solder in a new BRXL that had been for my y town sporty build, but at least now I have one good dual smashed set up
Hitec 7980 for front axle
Futaba R614FF-E receiver
New Castle BEC

This Super Class RC Rock Crawler has quite a history. It was driven by Rowdy Racing at the 2014 USRCCA World Finals. This Super took a bad fall into the Atlantic Ocean at that event and was shelved until Crawler Innovations took possession of it back in December 2014. It needed all new electronics, plus some new replacement parts.

Build time is always a tough commodity and sadly it took a little over one year & 6 months before I finally got it running. New custom made titanium upper links for the front and rear were made. Installed electronics include:

Tekin Pro 45T Motors x2
Hitec 7980 steering servos x2
Castle Creations Side Winder Micro ESC's x2 custom smashed together
Castle Creations 10amp BEC's x2 (1 for each servo, one esc powers the RX and both esc's)
Deans Micro Plugs
Futaba RX

The first part of this video is a time lapse of it being wired up. Once completed the video shifts to the Super Juice being test driven for the first time. The last segment was filmed at a local park once the new skins were installed. Tires are hand made cut n shut tires by Crawler Innovations. Foams are CI Super Nova foams, part # CWR-4004 front and CWR-4005 rear.
