Today I tried to save some weight on crawlers.

The upper links I have now created from carbon tubes.

A rear upper link from 4mm stainless steel has a weight of 20.2g
A rear upper link from 6mm carbon tube has a weight of 8.3g

The inline Skins Michelle arrived yesterday.
Today I have now installed the stickers and painted the checkered finish.

Now I do next Install the electronics done.
For I have found the Knuckle Weights Tungsten Weights already, for installation I have to think one system.

Looks good Tom, can`t wait for the first Roll out with the new Supers.

BTW: whats the weight of your Electronics?? i think i can save some weight by switching to FXR.......

Nice work Tom! On those CF upper links, I've had good luck with pinning the rod ends to the link (just like JeepSoHigh explains in his berg build thread). I have seen a few fail that were not pinned...

You want to move the rod ball at the front of your cab to the opposite side of the doubler. Like your rear.
This will stiffen up the chassis much more.

Wanted it that way, but since I installed the front shocks relatively far back, I had. Too much pressure on the carbon reinforcement.

I now get the brackets for the KnuckleWeights and mounted.

Also have reversed the articulation of the rear axle.
