Just received (April 2014) a Mad Torque produced the end of 2013. Has the lights included and is as described earlier in this thread. As with other Exceed models, the amount of grease in the gear boxes is barely noticeable. Added grease. Made skid plates out the the 3"x7" wood tie plates (Home Depot) as described - thanks. Placed 3.75 ozs of stick-on wheel weights (auto parts store) to front only. Outboarded and repositioned the shocks, which reduced the articulation just a bit so it maxes at a little over the tire height. Am using lipo batteries (2200 mah), one at a time. Rig goes well so far. |
