[IMG] save for a plastic folder on the back to cover wires, stage one is complete of my super torque... Everything is stock driveline wise, except for knuckles. And I have about $50 into the build so far... Next stage is new radio 4-steer and other stuffs. So now I bash!

I highly suggest you switch to berg gears front before 4 wheel steer and a new radio. Especially since you're running wheel weights.

Thanks, I've been wondering how long these would last with the added weight ...

For me, with weights like that just in the front I toasted a small 3rd the first time I wheeled it moderately hard. With no weights and stock tires they lived, with cut and shut tires they broke easily in the front. They've lived in the rear though.

They have survived. Two trips so far, so I'll see how long they last I guess. I am kind of light on the trigger finger, and am hoping they last till stage 3 wich is 40 series wheels and new motors and axels. (Fingers are crossed)

I run the jconcept wheels, they're cheap and super light for a 40 series. If you do motors those gears and shafts will die. What axles are you planning?

Was planning on bully when the time comes, where would be the best place to get them?

Well rc4wd is the only place that sells bully. But for what it's worth, mt axles with berg gears and narrowed axles are going to be cheaper and lighter than bully axles. Also since they're lighter your rig will handle better and be more agile than a bully axle rig.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Zdw...e_gdata_player a quick line I found flexing the crap out of this thing... Some how I got the suspension to only flex when it is needed, but to lift a wheel when it is necessary too...

for what it's worth, with some creative work you can shave 200gr out of the bully axles.
My super bully axles weigh about 300gr.
Drilled gears,shaved gearbox, delrin tubes.

If anyone is out there I. Am in need of some advice... I recently swapped in a set of 27t motors going for more of a rock bouncer thing instead of crawler... so far It is a ton of fun
and has broken just about everything on the rig. Now that I have rebuilt it to handle the extra speed and power my esc has burned out. Can someone recommend a descent upgrade that can handle
an eventual switch to Lipo and doesn't. Cost $200.
