| new to mad torque and rc crawling
Finally. Broke down and bought a mad torque as a cheap way to get into the rccrawl game. I can not afford to fix my 1:1 scale jeep anymore so my question is... has anyone compiled a list of compatible parts for the torque? I have ax10 knuckles. On order a better servo and arm are next but what about cvd axles And other parts??

You could shorten bully shafts and run those, there's nothing that goes right in. You can run all berg gears with dlux's adapters. Everything else is universal parts.

Cool thanks. Those berg axels looked so similar I was hoping the torques. Were a carbon copy in plastic molding .. oh well

I'm probably going to start posting pics of my rig so I can get some ideas, but my question now is if I can Cut-n-shut my wheels only then cut new foams to get slightly skinnier and taller wheel? Then if I want to cut wheels I can do that later... |

Ahhh crap I can't figure out how to add pics from my phone!!! I'm right in the middle of my first bodyless chassis build and my first wheel cut-n-shut. Not sure I want to waste my time transferring pics to computer?

[IMG] my bodyless chassis design on some super cheap lexan. This stuff was just for a test run, but I found a way to stiffen it up and ended up keeping it.

[IMG] the Lowe's guy gave me a chunk of this 1/4 inch plexi stuff out of the scrap pile for free, so I made my skids and body panels out of it to stiffen up the body, and it worked like a charm.

[IMG] my new favorite thing is painting the inside of the panels so the paint doesn't scratch and you can see the threads from tapping.
