| how about 1/5 scale?
I bought a used exceed max stone 1/8 moa for $80. Add a redcat 1/5 body and body posts $100 A rc4wd outcry duel motor esc $65 Custom chassis... Metal geared servos $30 and some misc parts... and you get this, a 30'' long semi-scale rig. Not as much flex as stock, but plenty of flex for good offroading: Vids: 1/5 Custom RC Rock Crawler Hits the snow - YouTube 1/5 Scale Rock Crawler set to DBZ music - YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZkAVF5JRAQ |

thanx, glad you liked it this is one of those custom rigs I regret selling. I hope to build a bigger one some day. the exceed max torque is a good sized truck, but the max stone 1/8 is larger with much bigger tires. Might do one based on that some day. |
