on the Super XR-10's Chris Hope they held up for Ya at Best of the West last weekend

If these new Dlux case's don''t fix the gear issues. I'll go back to stock Berg gear cases. I never had any issue's with those old heavy junkers. All the gear problems started when I to the latest & greatest TRICK LIGHT WEIGHT STUFF.

GOOD THING I HAVE A LARGE HOARD OF BERG & SD small 2nd/3rds GEARS

I've run 6 Packs testing and flogged the crap out of them no issues so far

Winter boredom set-in so decided to do some preseason maintenance on all the crawlers..

1st up was the Super tore it completely apart for the first time (other then routine maint.), replaced all the bearing in the drive train and servos

No real major changes except for a new match pair or Brood 35t Confux's with the works Really liken these guys. tnx Eddie

Also after running Dlux / Robinson-Racing SAF gear's and love-en them , thought I'd try his new lower ratio gears. Wow what a difference in torque and and way smoother throttle response. Dam I've never run gears then run so quite TNX Eric & RR

Rebuilt the shocks. I really like the KYOSHO Red Velvet's Diamond D talked me into a couple yrs ago they never ever LEAK and are as smooth as Butter

Have not decided yet but thinking of changing the 4 link Bias from 45/55 to 40/60 But then again why tempt fate

On to the Sporty and PRO

So after my 3rd back surgery in 2 yrs the feeling in my is right foot back to about 80% ( caused by being rear ended on my motorcycle)

While recuperating and out of pure boredom decided to try a new chassis on the Super I picked up a DravTech Super SuDu and a set of Tobias's shocks to replace the always leaking big Bores.

Made a new set of Ti link's 3/16 front & uppers 1/4 rear lowers for a 40/60 bias wheel base .

I've had a chance to get it out on the practice pile a couple a few time's and after some link an shock tuning I Darn happy with the performance.

I guess this can be considered a new truck so here are the basic Spec.

DravTech Super SuDu Chassis and shocks TNX Tobias
Ti 4 links by me
Modified Delrin Skid by me

Axles
Dlux Replacement Cases with Dlux/Robertson SAF Low ratio Gears TNX Erick
Super 300 CVD's
Axial style Splined 7075 T-6 with clamping link shock, servo & battery mounts by me
Axial 8 deg. Scale Clamping C hubs
Dlux Aul. knuckles with my front & rear Knuckle weights
Dlux 6" G-10 Wheels with 8" Cut- n Shut VooDoo's by me

Electronics
Matched pair of
Brood Conflux's with the works Tnx Eddie
HH Dual BR Dual Mini ESC
Hi-tech 7980 servos
Futaba TX/RX

Actually sold the SiSu's quit some time ago wanting smoother throttle response and Switched to 30T Vapors which were OK but not as much power an prone to stalling when the 8" tires were wedged-in a notch .

Last yr the truck had a fall of a 20ft cliff and the rear motor landed on a pointy rock bending the motor can and broke a magnet.

At that time Eddie was out of stock on SiSu's . cboogs really liked his Conflux's so picked up a pair of loaded 35T Conflux's and more then happy with them. Just as much power and wheel speed as the SiSu's ,but way way smother throttle response.
