Default Upper Links??

Is there any other material that could be used to make upper links other than titanium? And would be worth making them out of?

My upper links are 3/16 titanium, the weight is 14g each, I have been thinking about trying to save some weight in the upper links. But I would like to keep about the same stiffness that I have now. My worry is that if I go to something else I will save weight but lose strength.

Default Re: Upper Links??

On the super that I am building both Erik and myself are using 7075 aluminum. If you are at all interested, shoot me an eye to eye measurement that you need and I will cut, tap, and send you some. I buy 6' lengths for $12 bucks so I have plenty laying around.
