It looks really good!
What is the width of the truck, outside tire to outside tire?

Darn, I forgot to measure it. Will go and do it tomorrow.

Yeah, thanks! Douwe adding porn for me? Hmmm.. any second thoughts?

Anyhow...

I heard some bad noises from the rear axle during training.

Let's get it down brothas!!

Hmmm.. yeah. Final gear doesn't look very promising. Allthought the bearings were in perfect shape.

New idler- and final gear.

Would this make it more silent?

Sure it did!

Back to the shelf waiting for more training.

Exactly! They went straight to use. For the moment, I don't see a reason to cut any pins. I'll continue on testing.

Sorry Roger that the answer took this long. It's 345mm wide.

Time for a small update.

Been driving few packs lately.

Training in a pro course.

The ground clearance seems to be an issue here and there, but no more that I used to have with the Superjuice.

I've driven few batteries with it now and only broke a steering arm. Seems to be quite tough little buddy.

Fully compressed in action.

Still most of the time my constrantration goes to my radio. But I'm sure it'll get easier as time goes.

Pins seems to have an excellent grip nearly every spot.

On the other day I was training in a diffrent spot. Much more grippier and more sharp edges here. And it still goes like a beast.

I've managed to keep it on it's wheels quite well.

Next week I'll finish building it for now. Gotta measure the wb and assemble the links so it'll be somewhere near 17,5". Also I'll have to glue the sliders and put the electronics behind the front motor. Then it's good to go for more practice.

Time to finish this rig before doin more training!

I'll start by looking inside of the front axle.

I also found a way to use the Dlux front uppers. By turning this thing around.

While opening the gearbox I found out that my bearing from the end of the final gear is in three million pieces. Good thing I opened this now.

VP upper link mount turned around and the bearing problem solved.

Next job is to measure that the wheelbase is same in both sides.

Dlux titanium uppers attached.

Perrfecto!

Turns out that the links were just the right size. I'll have to use my head to make this thing work.

Wheelbase is now the same on both sides. Just under 17,5".

A while back Yzik asked me a side pics without wheels. Here they are.

Rear driver side.

Front driver side.

Rear passenger side.

Front passenger side.

Also got a new electronics mount behind the front motor from Dravpnir.

Attached. This is a great invention!

It's a perfect fit in there!

The electronics stuffed in there.

There will be just enough room for them.

Nearly ready RTR weight reading.

The next day I started with soldering the electronics.

Will make some wires shorter and some longer.

Rear wiring and assembling done.

Front done now as well.

Looks like a mess, but they are well organized there.

Pic from below.

I have been waiting for this moment a long time. It's finally ready!!

And then I forgot that I have to glue the lower link sliders. In this pic it's done as well!

Final RTR weight reading.

All of my rigs are now ready for tomorrows comp day. For super it'll be just training, but this year I at least do that.

What a feeling after a long winter to finally have them all ready. It's been a crazy ride. Now I'll constantrate on driving.

I did have seen the testvideo on course from last saturday and i was impressed how good your new super(and you) could perform. I never really thought about to drive one of these class, but it really took pleasure to drive one.

Only one thing i did´t understood...you(not the rig!!!) pushed one gate

It is a pleasure to drive this thing. Even more with MT-4 and rear steer on the lever. After getting used to that, it all goes like a dance. And yes, I hit a gate....

Not really too much practising last saturday. Got the time for running one course after pro class had did it.

I was thrilled to show everyone the newcomer.

It has to be the most attacking rig I've ever had in terms of the looks.

There's still so much to learn from this rig. Will have to do a lot's of driving before the big comps.

That upper gate I hit by an accident. Not paying enough attention.

And that ground clearance.

Suspension seems to be on "the" spot right now.

Just enough flex, so it's easy to control.

And here it is on video!

Everything works flawless and I'm ready to do more driving as the weather is improving here.

Time for final update for the rig.

Update pack arrived.

Pauli4x4 Designs 3D printed hex hubs. A little bit narrower than the VP ones.

It's there and the colour is correct!

Turns out I need wider ones. It's not clearing my knuckleweight holders. I'll order a new set.

Finally I can get rid of the awful white motor guards. Some Custom Fiber CF awesomeness.

No more color mismatches.

Old front lexan motor guard.

YES! I'm super happy of all the components in this rig.

Some RC4WD upper link spacers to the chassis. Great product this.

Got balance?

Went out for a battery a while ago.

Some training before my hands got too cold to drive.

Tomorrow we'll have the fourth comp of the year. I'll try to get some training with this as well.

Did some more training yesterday.

With 2.2 courses the most difficult thing is the gate wideness. Rig barely fits in there and that makes it hard.

At least with this sort of training, I get a lot of shaprness in my driving.

With the rear steer in the lever, rig feels unbeliveably good to drive.

This time nothing broke either!

Only thing I found out, is that I don't have enough time to drive with this during our comp days. I'll have to go and do some super training days.

And still I haven't got a lot I would change currently.

With the rig being so light, it's sometimes hard to predict it's acting.

But that is what the training is for.

Tried this bonus, but it was impossible for me without gate. The front tires couldn't grab the top.

I'm beginning to fell comfortable with the rear steer, from now on I can fully train myself to know where it lifts a tire etc...

Still not regretting for making another super.

Can't wait for the Nordics in june.

Here's a small video from the training.

Nothing to report here!

Except some training. Couple of days and few batteries behind.

Rig still feels awesome. I think I've finally found the confidence to drive it like it should be driven.

We have two more comps before this rigs first comp against other supers in the Nordics. I'll do some more batteries, and then I think I'm ready to go against Norway, Sweden and France!
