Default Kinggee's New Super

Talk about being at the right place at the right time. Few months back was talking to John(SuperDave) and got on the rc subject. Well few months later here she is...

So far havent done much other than install some of the sexy RCBros gears and shock collars. Lowered the ride height which required swapping the servo to a front facing setup to clear the shocks. Oh and swapped out the boss claws for my voodoos. Excited to get it on the rocks and out for its first comp with a new driver on the 21st.

Very nice new to you rig Dan! Can't wait to see it next comp! I'm hoping to have mine done by then. Just waiting on the tubes now and I should be good to go!

Sweet. Be good to see ya canadians again. Sounding like a fellow club member is going to pickup my old super too which is one more on the list. Perfect. Super comeback is happening.

That's a pretty badass rig! I saw it live in 2013 Nationals and boy was it cool! Performance is ok too when you keep in mind that, it's 2012 National Champ.

I would imagine, that it wasn't exactly cheap. Good to hear that super is getting back on it's feet there!

Thanks. It was time to retire the super juice. Couldnt pass up this rare find though. Hoping to be at nationals/worlds this year with it but by no means is the second driver as good as its original owner.

Well first comp out didnt go so well. Frustration trying to get used to the 4pk after being comfortable with the 4pl didnt help as well as bending some links and snapping a rod end. So now its upgrade time. Whipped up a link bender and got the rears done.

Good one Dan

Really like the dual rollers for the link bender ( wish I had thought of that DA) I'll have to plagiarize that one. Having both links bent exactly the same would be nice.

When you going to build the CNC hydraulic bender version like the big boys use. Put me on the pre-order list for one

CNC bender would be cool but doing by hand is more rewarding. Front links are done but Im ditching the scx10 shocks and waiting on the big bores to arrive.

Finally got the new links and shocks worked in. It now achieves full squat as well. 4" clearance at front of skid sitting neutral and 2.5" squated. As noticed some cosmetic changes too. So far drives nice and im getting along with the 4pk. Comp is next weekend so fingers crossed.

Thanks. Krawlfreak with ytc out did himself with that chassis. Benders working killer. Made a 3" diam die to redo the rear lowers for a smoother transition. Just waiting on the ti order.

2nd time at a comp with this and i got the win. The hard work on the links and practice with the 4pk paid off. It is working very well now. Not much to change other than messing with the shock tuning.
