a good set of 1:8 axles (try dlux) 1:8 chassis (try dlux or dravpnir) links, or rod and rod ends and appropriate taps and/or dies 2 35t hi torque motors (brood or holmes hobby), 2 escs, a cc bec, at least 2 hi torque metal gear servos - or 4: 2 at the front, 2 at the back servo mounts, battery mount, batteries, battery charger wheels (try dlux), 12 voodoos (to cut and shut) I favor a stick radio, at least 6 channel preferably 7 or 9 scews, nuts, 13 gaqe wire, wire ties, deans connectors, bullet connectors, lexan sheet for body panels, paints tools for all the above or rc4wd has some super bully axles, servo mounts, a pretty good super chassis with links as does billet works design. rc4wd also has some wheels and tires. Integy also has some super size wheels and tires but .... then there is nitrorcx and the madtorque. considering those are plastic bergs... there is some hope then there is the redcat super rock slide. it is a monster then there is the original clod moa axles. you can get the Tamiya plastic ones or the integy metal copies. there are several ways to go with supers. what do you want out of yours? as you look at the pictures in the gallery you can tell some are shelf queens and some are bashers and some are serious compers. this should get you started have fun, supers are great Last edited by cabron; 02-26-2015 at 07:50 AM. |

You need USRCCA rules it's toward the bottom of the forum list. This link should take you to it. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/usrcc...-rulesets.html You want the traditional comp class rules I believe. |

in the super section everyone is giving away their secrets, most (of those secrets) are for sale. Then you have to figure out how to drive it. (thats the tough part)

ottsix came out with some killer tires a short while back great compound, very adaptable tread, seems to get better with use, several softnesses. they are the current "best tire" in most peoples' opinion wish I could afford a couple of sets, I have to make do with rovers, panther leopards, and sedonas. |
