Nice driving Curt! I would love to comp in that spot, looks amazing! And what I saw from the videos, those courses were really tough!

Thanks Sarka! I definitely need more stick time, but i was happy with my performance and getting my first finish on this car's maiden voyage comp.

I need more front weight to get a little better front bite

How did you put the tires together so cleanly?

Very carefully! Hahaha

Plan ahead. Trim consistently. And glue short distances.

Glad I could help. Keep you eyes peeled this fall I'm pretty sure we'll be running a super series at various places in Northern California.

Btw. What particular upgrades are you looking at doing?

My super is outdated, delrin Krawlfreak chassis, shaved berg cases, the oldest Brood motors anyone has ever seen, super 300's and so on... Going to have to modernize this beast.

A huge thanks to Sumquak for making these. Each hole is threaded for the big half inch socket head screw. It's really fine workmanship!

You shouldnt have any issue with the Delrin hubs. I ran them forever on my super without an issue. Not the same thing but I have my original ones on my 2.2p car and that has been quite some time.

I have only seen 2 of the broken ones but I can almost guarantee what they will all look like. They will be broken on only one side.

The problem started when I started selling my stainless hubs. I had to narrow up the pin so it would fit between the wheel hub threads. I assumed that everybody would simply center up the hex pin in the delrin ones. This isnt happening. People are just pushing in the pin so its flush on one side which means it has little or no engagement on the other. This takes more than half the strength away.

If youre having an issue with the Delrin hubs let me know and I can get some longer pins out that are impossible to install wrong. They are also now only shipped with longer pins to avoid this problem.

I actually ran into that on my rear hubs on my 2.2 it wallowed out one side where the pin goes. so im really careful to make sure the pin engages on both sides.

Yup, I broke a rear in half from the pin backing out and destroyed a front at the hub screws. Supers are brutal on parts.

Fresh BEC and both set to 8v. Ready to program ESC to calm these 30ts down a bit. A little throttle curve and throttle up dampening should do it.
