I tell no lies! We have scratches... And we have rocks!!! Then my battery died.. Lol.. There might be a V2 on the electronics. Maybe even testing some BR mini's.. I have all winter to fry shiz... ;) Ohhhhhh yeeaaahhh, I like it! And I got laid off today.. So I'll be taking advantage of that too! I have rear steer on the lever and motor's on trim 1... (3pos, punk dig style) |

After a few more packs this morning: I switched the direction of my rear steer, on the lever. Dialed in steering, drag link length, EPA's, etc.. Crawled around for a bit getting use to it.. Half a dozen+ packs today. I see a real need for some weight.. The rear steer will move the front end around and off line. Not to keen on that. So this is what popped into my head during dinner.. Which would work like this, if it where to work.. Hmmmmmm.. |

After a little thought, cutting, dremel'n, CNC work, and a good bit of fitting.. I started by drilling the two ¼" holes for the Dlux weights to fit into. After I got the weight to lock in, I started working it on to the axle.. Then I CNC'd a ledge in it to clear the Shift hub. (You can see the CNC in the bottom of the pic). ;) Dimpled the holders to secure the weights to. I had to make a additional hole for the weight holder, as well as a second set screw hole in the BMRC weight. When it was time to mount them, I dimpled the faces and used some flat heads. Let's get these bad boys mounted! And tires! A huge difference on my balance point! It was at the back of the skid.. With no weight and RTR, it was 5lbs 12ozs After the BMRC weights it was 6lbs 1oz. Now 7lbs 1oz or so.. I'll get an exact weight once it's all done. Just to show where the balance point is. Not huge on the weights sticking out of the tires so far.. But it will get me thru the season. |

I woke up this morning and walked outside and ran a pack, and a couple other times they the day.. Then off to my dad's to sight gun's in. I didn't know he wanted me to shoot a quarter of his guns in tho! So 15-17 guns and about 50 shots later.. I stopped at our shale pit at the bottom of the driveway.. Plenty of fun to be had! Another.. After turning hard, I really enjoy watching the crab walk! Front down ass up, that's the way we like tah..... Crawl? Thought this was sweet! 4wd, 4ws, 180 turn around, on this rock!

Looking great!! You planning on sticking with the MT-4 or going to step up and wrap your head around twin sticks? I am loving driving it with them.

I didn't find twin sticks tooooo difficult, once curcal helped with the setup, so a change over will probably happen in the long run. Tho, I'm sure there is going to be Plenty of changes going on with this rig thru out the year! ;) For now, I'm going to keep working on my driving and figuring out when and How to use the steering the most effective and efficient way.. Raining in PA today.. :( buuutttttt no worries, I didn't let it slow me down any! The bridge, is a Whole new play ground now!

The answer is always. Always use your rear steer. Figuring out how it affects the way your car drives based on which way the rear steer is pushing is the difficult part.

What should be used to replace the Delrin? A composite of some kind?
