Super SuDu that Voodoo that Bully2 do! Ok it's go time for my Super SuDu with Bully 2 axles! This should be a lot of fun, going to stretch the front and rear axles with carbon fiber tubes, make a 3pc carbon fiber axle brace with steering servo, battery and electronics mounts on axle. Also making new Ti both front & rear axle shafts / universals. As well as a sweet set of 2pc shocks out of 7075 for the housing Ti shafts & Teflon piston. Got a great idea for these shocks! Got my links from Dlux very nice, thanks!"thumbsup" http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z...93221047AF.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z...6E76832C6D.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z...DC09AFF74E.jpg Thanks for looking see you on the rocks! |
Re: Super SuDu that Voodoo that Bully2 do! Be curious to see how well stretching the Axles Tubes works out "thumbsup" |

Thanks guys, hopefully it works as good as my 2.2 MOA rig in the end:shock: What are you guys running for wheelbase, center to center. Width outside tire to tire. And if you could what the width on your axle, pin to axle pin. |

I will try to remember to measure my super today. |
Re: Super SuDu that Voodoo that Bully2 do! My wheelbase at ride height is about 17.3" and both my axles are 10.25" kingpin to kingpin. I use the same wheel hubs and tires front and back so my super are equally wide front and rear. I have no driveshafts in my axles atm so that is the best width measurement I can give you atm. I run the AX10 non 8* chubs btw. |

Thanks again T. 8) |
Re: Super SuDu that Voodoo that Bully2 do! With all the measurements I was able to get a starting point for axle width. Added 1 5/8 or 1.625 to both sides. Now for the universals, for now I'm going to use the stock stub outs with a longer inside. Working on those today. Then bracing with spots for batteries and electronics out of Carbon Fiber. http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z...052E95F266.jpg More to come! |

Re: Super SuDu that Voodoo that Bully2 do! Made up a few Ti extensions for the axle, slide right in with the carbon fiber tubes. Started on a full inner universal out of Ti but those are a 3 operation job and need more time, unless I can get them into my 7 axis CNC lathe. Then be one and done. Maybe over the weekend. Tonight I did the layout for the Carbon Fiber cross bracing / elect and battery. Try to get those machined tomorrow in the Brothers Speedio. http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z...E07AB4EB05.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z...3EA056ED8C.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z...4D023E390B.jpg |
