Slim in his 2nd incarnation, he is currently spread out being tweaked and rebuilt with an electronics upgrade centered around 1/4 scale servos, dual ESC's and a LiPO/LiFE power upgrade. Still kicking my own @$$ for selling off the XTM Thorns:-(

Not giving up on my clods just yet

Default Super Jr.

It's great to see a Super section-- thanks folks!!!

It's wheelbase sits at 16.325" (origainally it was 15.25"-- thus the "Jr.").

It weighs about 7lbs, 140z.-- RTR

- got the Fast Lane Machine SPV chassis for $20 and just had to use it.
- made the links- uppers out of 1/4 aluminum rod. Lowers out of 3/8 rod, then turned down to 1/4"-- all Drilled & tapped on a lathe.
- steering setups are BTA setups-- nothing fancy but they work.
- Axles: 55T Integy motors, 8T pinions, Integy aluminum tubes, JP Knuckles, aluminum gears in the rear, aluminum spools, TTR / MIP shafts all around.
- Electronics: homemade 3C A123/LiFe packs (9.9V) & 1300Mah 3s Lipos (11.1V), Sidewinder, Punk Dig, Traxxas 2.4ghz TQ4, Castle 10A BEC powering both Futaba 9157 steering servos.
- 7" IMEX Rubicons on 3.2 Maximizer rims.

Default Dmg/worm

well i cant find a place to put this that fits better than here. i got an aluminiti chassis from DMG and wanted to try the worminator axles.

DMG chassis
worminator axles (with 25:1 gear conversion, stock is 40:1)
rc4wd r2d tranny (going to get another one but the 1:1 style)
hot racing air shocks
the wheels are from ebay but the guy that built em is on here somewhere,
they are very nicely machined (if you know who he is post it please)
rc4wd out cropper tires, 5/3/8" tall, very soft rubber compound, i like em
goat 2s esc. and 18.5 turn brushless motor (for now)
rc4wd driveshafts

right now the wheel base is exactly 15"....the breakover angle sucks because for a rig this long it sits too low. so i will either raise it or shorten it. having trouble getting much wheel speed out of it now too with the worminators and the R2D tranny. so i am going to change the tranny to the 1:1 that rc4wd built for these axles. then i shold be on the way to a great performer.
