Default possible brazing axles pads?

So I over tightend my rear leaf spring U bolts on my re release and broke my spring pads, I was able to braze them back, but i seen a few videos brazing aluminum and wondered if any one ever brazed perches on the axles it would be nice to flip the U bolts and clean the hanging hardware.
