Has anyone tried one of these out? I’m curious about what the pro’s and con’s are. It’s a great price, has me interested.

Decent for the price. Especially for the nostalgia.
The only negatives i've found for this price point are the axle pinion bearings are a bit loose, but everything else is 90% of the quality Tamiya puts out. Took the trans apart and found it to be of very high quality and comes with all metal main gears and i think the 2012 Bruiser has plastic. I'd have no issue buying another at $250, alot of fun and great looking chassis.

Do you have any pictures to offer? I’m also curious if this is truly a three speed or just a high/low trans. The box art shown on Asia tees is confusing.

it's a 2 speed and a 4lo speed, hope that makes sense, that's the way all the hilux, blazer , bruiser and mountaineer were designed.

I LOVE mine. For the price, it is hard to beat since I could never justify the cost of an OG or even a re re. From what I have gathered, they're made from the actual tooling used to make the re release. Mine arrived from banggood with almost no box deformation and wasn't missing anything. So far, the only loose stuff I have found was the front body post and one of the leaf spring u bolt was not as tight as the other seven

Got mine today. Very impressed. Even the instructions are Tamiya quality.

Meanwhile the body is available in black and white, very expensive at Ali, but cheap (56 €) at Banggood:

HG P407 1/10 2.4G 4WD Rc Car Spare Parts Body Shell ASS-08

Good option for a cheap scale build... for people who can live with the "clone thing". So far all reviews have been very good for this car, for both, the HG P-407 RTR version, and the HG P-407 KIT version.
