Bruiser/HG P407 Bed and Cage Design

I have been working on a 3d printable bed and roll cage for the Bruiser. I am new to rock crawlers so I was wondering if you guys could look at this and tell me if anything is wrong, or if I should add some stuff to this. I still have a spare tire mount going into the design. Let me know what you think.

I'm liking it! I have an OG Bruiser that is still pristine,, and purchased 2 407's last spring. I'm slowly modifying my one 407 to crawl!!!

Keep up the progress.

Re: Bruiser/HG P407 Bed and Cage Design

I am redesigning the whole thing after seeing it on the truck. I am designing a front mount battery tray and front servo mount. Then I am moving all of the electronics to where the battery tray is. The bed will more incorporate the stock frame rails and look more like a real crawler.

The whole design of the boxes inside the truck was influencing where I was putting things, then after seeing it, I realized it's just all wrong. The design will be a lot cooler when I am done.

I would never do this to an original Bruiser lol. But having the P407 makes it an easy decision.

Do you have a photo of the front mount battery tray? I have been looking for an example for a while.
