Default P407 motor

What turn motor does the P407 come with? What is a good replacement motor as an upgrade that will utilize the stock ESC that comes with this?

I believe it’s a standard 550 27t. I put a axial 35t in mine with the stock pinion and it’s a torque machine. Motors threw anything. You will loose a lot of wheel speed though but it’s not bad at all.

Not a lot going on in this section. Thanks for the reply. I just figured there would be more input.

Default Hg P407 motor Bruiser

Hi,
What motor did you upgrade to? I want more torque and a bit of more speed. I have been trying to find a motor to upgrade without the need to changing gears. I was looking at the Holmes 550 torque master 21T running on 2s. I was also looking at the Tamiya GT tuned 25T / 500gf/cm torque / 19,000rpm
Thanks

I think this is close but I've always figured it's a 21T 550.
