Hey CD13, first I wanna say that I like your rig, it helped inspire me to build a pimp cane What 4s Lipo are you using? I just ordered a Thunder Power 3s 3850mah and two Sidewinders, but I'm thinking that I want to try a 4s, curious what your run times and wheel speed are like with a 4s? |

That should work good for ya,Mine did great with the cells on the knuckles. when I went to the lipo I had a lot more wheel speed but without the weight on the front,it seem to want to roll over backwards alot.  |

My main concern with running cells mounted to the axles, is that cells are fixed to the knuckles. It is not as easy to swap out knuckle packs as it is a lipo mounted to the back bone. Yes I am sticking to the lipo.your right about the knuckle packs unless you use the pcv pipe mounting method I used. taking off the wheel and tire its possible to remove the battery pack.As for weight,I have made some lead weights that rap around the knuckles and hang down like the knuckle packs would.A Kamikaze copy but in lead. |

I run a 3 Cell Lipo just above the front Servo and motor. Then run 3 Sub C cells on each front knuckle just for weight. There not even hooked up.
