this is the new intage chassis so wat dose every one thank of it sorry that you have to go to the links i am still trying to figer out how to put the pics of the trucks up still

That thing is horriable! how ever designed it, did not have rock crawling in mind. To many things to get hung up on. :-( Including the links.

that is what i thought that it was going to get hung up on things to but it dose not get hung up any ware on the chassis its the axles that get hung up not the chassis

edit: After careful examination of the word "intage," I realized that you meant "integy." Come on, spend two seconds to spell out your title correctly!! Then I spent thirty seconds searching to realize that this chassis costs $200! :wow: $200 for that POS??? Worst part is, on that crappy chassis, you mounted everything at the highest point, with no regard that the lower rack would be the most beneficial in regards to lowering the COG of the rig.

Not to fond of the chassis, could make a decent basher though. Anyways, if you are stuck on running this chassis, extend the rear upper links, the motor is aiming down hurting clearance. I would also consider making new links the more conventional (better) way.

so how come no one likes this chassis cause when i go crawling with it i never have the problem geting hung up on the chassis

With a little fine tuning I think it would be alright. But your links, I would go with standard bottom links and that skid plate, you have to be getting hung up, it stick out to far on the sides. :roll:

i plan on redoing all the links with bent ones and as the battery tray i never get hung up on it.
its all ways the axles right by the motors

You got clod axles on there ah. Just changing your bottom links will help alot. Dude it's all about what you like, If it works for you go with it. "thumbsup"

ya i have clod axles but with the links that are on it now that truck is 19 inc long form center of front wheel to center of back wheel so should i keep it that long or shorten it up

Most clod or super's are from 17" to 19" it's personal perferance.Both of my buddies have clod converted supers, one with a hustler chassis and one with a NN chassis and there both at 17" They'll crawl over your house if they could. ;-)

I would also suggest that you mount as much of your electronics and battery as low as you can you are very top heavy at the moment.

will i just got the chassis a bought 2 weeks ago and all i did was put it together so i could try it out so some time this week i am going to do new links and move every thing around

Go to your local clubs next comp and enter it. You'll see.

Theres a HUGE difference between bashing in the backyard for fun and running the cones. If the chassis you have works for you,fine. Have fun with it. Once you run a few comps,you can quickly see what things will hang up.

so what is differnt betwen a comp and going crawling around the other rocks

Mainly other rigs, and scores to compare it to. It isn't very well designed. You might think that it doesn't get hung up on the obstacles, but we aren't sure what sort of course you are running on. It could be a simple course that an average 2.2 could walk over or it could be a complex one and you could be a master driver. We don't know, but the setup isn't ideal in our opinions right now. Post a pic of where you crawl and we can give you advice on how to set it up or to sell it on clodtalk and buy an NN.
