Default which straight axle setup?

http://www.tcscrawlers.com/TTR-MIP-C...e-p-16393.html

or this

Which would be the best $$ spent? I like Rc4wd's complete tubes but is there any gain with the tubes since the end of the tube is huge just like the stockers?

If it's for a 2.2 I would go Rc4wd or stock with lock out plates.

TTR will increase your width a little, not good.
TTR uses plastic hexes, not good.

Now if it's for a super I would go TTR shafts if I could not have rear steer.
Wheel adaptors work better with the 8mm shafts.
Front would match the back as I would have CVD's up front.

It's a 2.2 but 1:6 heavyweight trail rig(JK Rubiclod in clod forum). I haven't had any problems with my axle shafts but i do break the knuckles on a monthly basis, mainly the fronts but the rear's (lockout) snap sometimes too. I figured RC4wd's would be a better setup since it eliminates my problematic knuckles. They tend to crack at the upper "ball joint" screw. I have since jb'd the hell out of the front knuckles and they WILL NOT break so i just need to beef up the rear and get rid of the lockout crap that looks funky.

Thanks for your reply.

if anyone has any experience with these, please post up pix or info
