| Hustler Help
I have my super Hustler somewhat together, but I have run into a prob. I was trying to use some axial 40 series beadlocks( not narrowed ) I already had. I bought the 17 mm wheel adaptors from RCP. I fit them up and they are way too wide on the inside and hit the links what are my options. I have the stock clod 12mm adaptors, and some 14mm aluminum ttr ones that i got with the ttr cvd's and Jp knuckles I bought. do I need wideners or what. Any and all info will help I am not opposed to just getting the pro-line narrow beadlocks, but not sure exactly what I need for them either. I know they are 23mm but will I need adaptors or wideners for them. Please share all your knowledge with me guys. Thanks in advance Last edited by Team Jenny; 02-16-2008 at 04:47 PM. The simple fix is just to get widners. Or narrow the wheels you have now . Or get the proline ones. I suggest scraping the axial ! Invest in the proline . |

Do the narrow prolines need wideners?

O.K. I am going to order the narrow prolines, but not sure which adaptors to get. Wil I need just 23mm adaptors or 23mm wideners/adaptors. I just don't want to buy things that are wrong. Thanks!

I'm not sure, you may need to additionally narrow those rims. I replied to your other post too. |

You shouldn't have to use wideners to clear anything. I have never used them.

With the older style Axial 40 series beadlocks you will need to narrow the wheels for use on clod axles. There used to be a couple of good tutorials on here but I couldn't find them. I know one lost all of the pictures so it may have been deleted.
