Of course, you'll like this chassis. The plate's are thicker and the tail is also taller for better support. This one won't bend but should still flex well!!

Where's the wheelspeed going to come from with those high turn, low tooth count pinionioned motors? Oh, wait. Re-read the sponsor list; what ginormous battery is this thing going to run?

BIG battery....but keep in mind the Raptor's are 30:1 so gearing's got to come from somewhere.

Got a little more mock-up done today thanks to Rocksmith. Recieved some titanium links. If your not familiar with ti, it's a very strong and lightweight metal that is very slick due to it's density.
As soon as they showed I got them mocked up. They look great and once I clock the rear axle the clearance should be great with no steering issue's.

I'd like to say thanks to ROCKSMITH for getting these links to me. I know he plan's to become a vendor here soon. Keep an eye out, I know he's working on some cool stuff......like TLT titanium R&P sets that should be crazy light and stronger than anything on the market.
Here's his Website.... http://rocksmithengineering.com/ and keep an eye out in the vendor section he should be taking orders soon....these links are SLICK, pun intended.

Ya, some of the course's here in Washington and in Oregon have alot of holes, so getting bound up is a bigger issue than on monolithic rock. For that reason I'll keep it on the low side. I'm guessing were I will need to be.
When I ran the 2:1 reductions on my last set I still wanted it a little lower and that was with 65turn's.

Glad you like the links H3RESQ. I kind of figured you would get them today.
Now go see if you can scratch em when you get this built!

Ya, there even nicer than I thought they would be. Very nice machine work, and I even got the length's right when I measured. WOW.

The Ti links are SWEET! Gonna have to get me some, for sure.

What are the changes between the 1st gen. Raptors and the 2nd Gen?

Ok, its official. I am now a vendor on RCC. If anyone is interested in Ti links or darn near any other part made from Ti. Get hold of me.
At the moment I am out of Ti stock, the response from the first runs were phenominal. I should have close to 200lbs of Ti by the end of week in inventory..........
