they were part of the kit for the hustler and the links came with it

the black anno was so thick tho that they were really tight sliding them on the links

Looks good, I'm seriously thinking about building a Hustler. 180 oz servos may be a little on light side ya think? I've got HiTec 5955TG's and I love em, thinking about the JR 8711 next though. Big torque can get you outta jams

I weigh 210lbs. I stood on a cinder block and placed the hustler against a wall and the cinder block on the other and with a 5955 it was able to wiggle its way and move me and the cinder block.

they are plenty strong enuff for a hustler ...its a very light truck and i can turn up the power if i need to

the truck can lift itself by turning the tires so i dont c why i could need more power

You can never have enough power I think you will find once you get the truck out that you will need more torque from the servos than you have.
My rig and my sons rig we ran in super last year and the start of this year are running hitec 805 1/4scale servos and there not enough alot of the time so i have stronger but smaller case servos on the way for both trucks.

Nice rig.
I'm still debating on a hustler chassis but was worried about the battery location. Didn't really want to stick them on the axles. Is that a 7-cell flat pack? You have to modify the chassis to squeeze it in there? JW, cause I have many 7 cell flatties.

Great, at least I know that someone else has a super in mich, we'll have to see if I can hang at the first comp. Mine is an TCS NN, Raptor axles, Moabs (not XL's), 5955 front servo, hitec 645 rear servo (might change), 11.1v lipo, rx pack, EVX esc (for now, haven't decided what I really want in there), 65t lathe motors. Seems to have good torque, plenty of wheelspeed

How do you like your NN? I'm thinking of building one.

So as not to hijack saul's thread, ceck out my "old school" thread. I love this chassis, super versatile, great performance
