Well.....after tomorrow you'll see pictures, but unless you come back to Tejas, you wont see it live. It's too cold for my blood up in your neck of the woods.....I think I would freeze in my tracks.

Well, I headed over to a nice rock wall this morning and had a good run. I ended the day with a broken rear locker (I knew I shouldnt have gone with the Delrin version).

I really LOVE the clearance of this pimpcane. I do, however, need to get some more practice using this stick radio.

Here are a few pics:

CPE....yeah, I looked at yours earlier today, but I think I tossed the stock ring gear when I got the delrin lockers....I cant find them in my pile of axle parts. I ordered an aluminum replacement spool.

I have been running this thing as much as possible and playing with the settings on the DX6 and I am really liking this setup! Here is a short vid of something that NONE of my other crawlers can make:

Thanks man! Those are custom rims from Mayhem Eng. (well, he might be producing them in higher quantities now, but he wasnt when I got them).

Well, sorry for the trouble with making new wheels when you only sold a few....I thought they would sell better. Either way, they work PERFECTLY on my truck! I am thinking of building a new set of tires and am going to run the blue/silver rims!

Yeah, the Pimp Cane is a great chassis and the Assassin motors are a perfect fit for this crawler. They are fast when needed, but have excellent torque and are nice and smooth. I'd say that they are worth it...

Well, I have done a bit of work narrowing this thing thanks to some tips from Run2Jeepn and a little help from the dremmel. It is now about 1/2" narrower in track width than it was before putting this thing at about 11" in TW:

Here you can see what I cut off from the TTR CVDs:

And here is a comparison shot (Driver side is chopped, Passenger side is stock TTR width):

I had to drill out the rims some (sorry Mayhem). I am pretty happy with the width and plan to test it out sometime this weekend!

The are slightly different. They hex on these are 14mm (12mm hex is a bit small when using these TTR CVDs) and a custom offset. I'm not sure if he still has these in stock, but I know that after he made me the sets, not many folks were interested in them....which is too bad.

Looks good, We still have the prog. to make this wheel. I think I have a set of 14mm spiders sitting on the shelf. If we can help let me know.
