| help with clod crawler
Hi all, I bought a clod cane crawler off ebay and have two questions. It has 2 integy55t EVX traxxas esc 14.4 two 1/4 scale servos Traxxas 3 channel radio and reciever. It came with a 6 cell battery pack, Nimh. It's set up with the non BEC side jumped and running the juice from one input side. My first question is the cane chassis is bolted to the clod axels with one nylon bolt what keeps it from swiveling? 2nd question. With the 6 cell pack its totally lacking any power. I tried a 9 cell nimh and it was better but I would like more power if possibe. Thanks |

The pimp should also have a small metal "L" shaped bracket bolting the chassis to the axle's to keep them from rotating. I'm not a big electronic's guy but....Bigger batteries, and having the motor's built will help(Most r/c shop's can do this for you)they add brushes, set motor's at 0, turn them etc. It would be as cheap or cheaper than getting new motors. Also, what pinion's are in it? |

ok, I think the L brackets were left out, so I made some tonight and atached them to the screw at the apex of the case by the motor. Now I notice when I turn the crawler stops like theres not enough power. I think these huge 1/4 scale servos are eating all the juice. Will experiment more.
