Very nice! Good work on the tuber, is it your own design?

Thanks! after weeks of searching threads and photos I just took what I liked from everyones tube designs and did my own thing. what I drew on paper sorta resembles the finished product.

I will post more pics and info on the truck in the days to come! waiting on a new front servo and finish up the electronics and wiring

That looks cool, but its gonna be a handful with the droop shocks and that link geometry.

Your rear end is gonna drive out from under itself all the time. I suggest keeping the ground clearance and going sprung.

should I go with different shocks? Those are losi 8t front shocks on there, from pin to pin they are 2.75" colapsed and 4.5" fully extended.

Looking real sharp there

If you do experience the rear end trying to drive under the buggy and want to stay droop then try dropping the bottom chassis end link down to flatten the link angle ( reduces anti squat ).

I still have not had a chance to get it out on the rocks for some testing but it seems to do great so far...well crawling over everything I can find in my garage.lol I was going to take it to vasquez rocks today but it is supposed to be over 100deg today...have to wait for another day.

Hi,

very awesome looking tuber - i love it a lot

Did you use only one rooster crawler esc?

I also build my first Crawler based on clod axles - looking here:

http://www.rccrawler.eu/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=432

I have produced some parts like the axletubes, the links, the wheeladapters and .... by myself.

greetings
Michael from Germany

Nice first build! Did you get the links from Finishlinerc? I love the steering links out of Derlin. Nothing is going to break those.

Thanks!
all the links a made of derlin, got the derlin rod off ebay...cut, drilled and tapped super easy. It's nice because it slides across rocks alot better than any metal...don't get hung up as much.
