| Just won another bid ...My New Old Clod. I mainly got this Clod because of the original body with the bow tie grill and it hasn't been driven for almost the 10 years since it was bought ... owner says the battery has leaked and they are not sure if other stuff works or not etc. The Sanwa is thrown in free , are these any good especially these days? ...are these 2 channel? Should I be expecting any major problems with the axles after 10 years of it staying still? last question -Would you pull this Clod apart for a crawler build or would you recondition it (since it's reasonably clean body wise)? Axles alone were worth it, Bow Tie grill and body were a bonus. As for axles, open them up and inspect them. Wont hurt to throw in a fresh set of bearings .

know anything about the Sanwa radio? I might post in electronics...I just wonder if it will work OK because all I have is pistol grip radios at the moment, wouldn't mind experimenting with it for fun... | |

Great find! It would make a nice restoration since the body is in such great shape.

Sure! I already got two kids, so I don't need 'em anymore. And they're already in a jar. My wife keeps them in a locked cabinet above the wash machine. |

I just inherited an old Clod Buster with the original box and stickers still on the sticker paper. My buddy said that it didn't run, but all I had to do was clean up his solder mess on the speed control and replace the servos, it works great now. |
