| If youre getting a clod, your half way there. You could build a super,a basher ,a 2.2 clod crawler,it all depends what you want to do,enter comps or muck around with your mates. ON sell the clod and get an axail? there is a million choices ,use the search function, have a look around ,you might find something that you like. What ever you decide to do ,have fun doing it . |

| i have 3 running cold ones a super and ones a 2.2 and one is a un limited and i hate each one of them. i have the most fun with my 2 ax10s buy a ax10 they are more fun to drive because you have to drive them unlike the clod where they craw all over and it gets boring. |

You sir have issues. People like you are the reason the super class is in such a decline. You say that a clod just crawls anything.Sounds to me like you need to find something harder to crawl on.

trev, you need to decide what you want to build. I've built 2.2 competition Clods, 2.2 trail rig Clods, and super Clods. They all have advantages and disadvantages but they can all be a blast. Look through the picture gallery sticky and see what kind of build interests you. It also depends on what yours comes with. If it has 40 series wheels or Maxx wheels, and a decent chassis then a super might fit your budget fine. If it has stock wheels and tires and a chassis with a short wheelbase, then a 2.2 Clod might fit your budget better.

| Sheeple huh? Well i guess thats why i got one Anyways I went with the AX-10 first tweaked and tuned the STOCK chassis and am still happy with it i have far surpassed what i thought the rig was capable of. On that note this "sheeple" since messing with the AX10 i am now waist deep in a complete custom one off super because now i have the bug. There is absolutely no reason NOT to get a AX10 if you want one. To the OP you already have the clod axles and i think you would not regret making a killer super to crawl and bash with. Most importantly i think you should be aware this is very addictive |

Sorry, I did'nt mean to be offensive. I'm just commenting on the huge popularity of the AX-10 more than anything. Hell, I'm running an AX-10 tranny myself, it's a bullet-proof unit. I'm in the same boat - I've tweaked and tuned my TLT-based rig for over a year. It still amazes me sometimes, but I'm ready for a new rig. I recently scored a Hustler and Raptor axles on the 'bay, and now I have the super bug myself... Last edited by Big Mike; 10-02-2008 at 03:48 PM.
