Default Best suggestion for a replacement shock

Took my Super Hustler out today for its first comp today and RIPPED the shocks apart right out of the gate! I was using Ax-10 stock shocks because I traded for them and thought they might work and they just wern't up to snuff. The threaded top was what just let loose. I'm running a full droop setup with the RCP internal springs so post up some recomendations. Just for help, I'm already thinking Traxxas Big Bores in the aluminum varity but also might go the route of those new Losi shocks if the feedback is good.

Default super hustler shocks

Hey jeep,

I've got a set of aluminum bodied ax-10 shocks you can have if you want to keep the same shock length. Got aluminum caps for them too, just not mounted. If you want em, you can have em, I've got no use for them...

That would be great man! I'd still like to hear from some people about what other shocks they might recomend but those will get me back in game for sure!

Ran Traxxas hard coated Big Bores all last season without any troubles, no leaks, no damage (other than the shock ends) and they're smoooooooth! Worth every penny. RCP does suggest running them, and I would go with at least 100 weight oil, but I've read about and will be trying 1000 weight this season.

Mr. Bad Example...where are you in NH? Post up in the NH thread and we'll get hooked up, I have a bunch of guys that I crawl with and we're all in the Concord/Manchester area.

Neil, Big Bores all the way. That is what the majority run on super's, and thats whatn Al was running. But the offer that Diesel72 gave you, that's a sweet deal also.

I'd go for the alum axial shocks but at some point u'll bend the 3mm shafts. I think you need to throw on some HD links as well, drill and tap some 1/4 alum round stock.
