Default Hand Bros BTA questons

Just ordered a bta from TCS, I noticed that with the kits servo mounts, the axle brace is removed. Does this significantly reduce the strength of the axle? If so, how can I keep it strong and still have my servo mounted????

You can fab a new brace for that axle tube. Or upgrade to aluminum tubes.

I have the same question. Has anyone kept the plastic axles with the bta? If so, have you had any problems yet?

The purpose for the axle brace is to keep the tube from breaking off at the case not to make the C stronger. The new servo mount bolts back into the upper mount and is now the brace.

With the stock brace removed and the new servo mount installed it is stronger than the stock setup since the axle tube can share the load unlike the stock setup that places all the force on the upper C.
