Hey guy's I'm new to crawling and this forum and I could use some input. I just got me X-chassis from M&L Arts and I'm running Integy 55t with 8t and a tekin rebel2. I have a couple of 3300 6 paks and I've had the rear axle stall on 1 occaison. This rig is running 6.5" tires and weighs in at about 11lbs. I'm looking at the Integy V11 65t motors, should I stick with the 8t or go up to a 10? And what should I be useing for batteries? Thanks Cruizer |

best advice I got was to volt up. I'd stay with the 55t and 8 or even 6 or 7. but go up in volts, unless you mean you are already running the 6 packs in series, then you'd really be pushin the volts. I'm currently at 8 cell and like it. |

No there not wired in series although that is interesting. I wonder if the rebel could handle that? Kirshbom what type of cells are you useing?

I'm running the 4700 sub c from Cheapbatterypacks.com Very reasonable. I then made up a separate connecter harness. My charger will only go to 7 cells, so this way, I just disconnect and charge each 4 pack separately. I'm pretty happy with the set-up. I started out on 6 cell, went to 7 now 8. More volts is good. I recall the Tekin is rated to 12 volts max, but not sure. Check the instruction sheet or their website to be sure. |
