Default "Clod ROCKRACER"!

Ok ladys and germs! Here is the new project thats going on in the "Man room"!
We have clod axles that will have Holmes brushless in them soon. Of course it's a "Edge" chassis from TCS. For now I'm using Axial links that I bent to 32 degrees. Axial shock running droop. Proline "Rockstars" with Proline "Hammers". I made some Delrin spacers for the 3 link. I'm trying to figure out how to pull off a 4 link but it's a racer more than a crawler. This is what I have so far, whatch think? Also I have a Stick project that I will have up soon. Ps....I figured out how to run some Holmes Colbalt pullers in the Clod axles! It is going to be one hell of a "Stick"!!Name: 143_1854 (Medium).JPG

That racer looks interesting. I am interested to see how you fit the pullers in the TCS stick.

Lookin good . Seems like the Rock Racers are getting more and more popular, I might have to re-think my 2.2 build.

the only thing I'd be concerned about is all that unsprung weight... and droop? how are you going to soak up bumps?

Your right....I have alot of 7-8am nights. It's just a big oversight on my part. When I polished the links I moved them and just spaced it. I would have finished it and realized it quick enough! Thanks...

Hey, dingleberry.

Why not use a 4-link mount?

I'm not looking for Jato speed here Kami! I know what you mean though. I do have a lot of parts on the way though. I have a few sets of clod axles and a ton of stuff laying around that I'm just playing with. Just working on doing something a little different ya know! Thanks for the link Jason. I'll grab some. I'll be at the shop all this weekend, stopped be the LHS today to see ya, spent the house payment, you know the normal stuff.......
