I ran 55ts with my 9tooth pinion gears then went with 65t motors and will not go to anything above the 65t to me it would be stupid slow (unless you ran lipos?) but I was amazed by how much better it does with the 65t my battery life increased alot I don't get alot of clod stall unless my battery is almost dead. I have problems with climbing steep inclines because I don't have the wheel speed but it makes me a better driver because I find the right line to get up. but overall I personally wouldn't recommend the 85t motors yea your battery life might be better and clod stall might not happen as much but wheel speed is nice I'm finding out lol. |

Please dont give you reply if you only got a axial ;) and no clod. Sell the 85t motors they are realy crappy, even on a 16v lipo pack they are stupid slow mate;) Go 55t or even higher (40t) |

jc052685: 1 its posted in the clod section.;) 2 he runs 2 motors 3 running 8t pinions and i dont see many non-clod guys run 8t 4 Did you ever use a 85t? and used it in a clod. It has alot to do with that. I respect your post but it isn very usefull if you dont have knowlegde of the subject;) When gearing up those 85t they acutaly lose the they have power and the wheelspeed barely goes up. You will be way better of with your 55t or something like that. The're much clod guys that run 35t motor these days with 6t pinions. I'm running 45t motors with 10t pinions and i like them very much |
