RC4WD has a set of solid stainless steel links with aluminum ball ends. Check them out at www.rc4wd.com under "solid links" then "package deal".

Get yourself some 1/4x.49 K&S aluminum tube like this http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXS021&P=ML Some 4-40 all thread http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXD871&P=ML Some Traxxas rod ends http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXJG69&P=7 and you can make all the links you will need. |

RIGHT!!! You can also stop at Home Depot and get some 6x32 threaded rod, and then at NAPA and some UNPAINTED 1/4" brake line - all of this about eightbucks cheap! Then just the rod ends. I've made all my links this way - they're certainly not as strong as a solid link - but if you're on a budget or want to scratchbuild as much of your rig as possible this (imho) is the way to go. The brakeline is great to have around for brazing projects too - it's what alot of people use when they make tube chassis. Best of all, when it's 12:30am and the LHS is closed, you can still have links! |

We can custom make you a set using 6061 seamless tubing and Dubro Monster Duty plastic rod ends as well. We also have true carbon fiber links if the rig isn't going to see too many rocks. Those are typically used on our race chassis. Thanks!

Those can be made just as easily as alum. or steel tube. Look in your phone book for plastic suppliers and get yourself some delrin or acetal rod. Those look like 3/8 inch. You can use 7/16 or even half inch if you want. Losi eight rod ends are a near perfect match for 3/8. Bore it, tap it, and use all thread or long set screws. I think xrc will make those for you too.

Yeah I made my first set of those for my super. Just used a drill (for a lathe),a file, and drill bit. Put some screws in there and put Revo rod ends on it. |

The links in the pic look like carbon fiber arrow shafts. You can usually get some cheap arrows from a sporting goods store. Or if you are like me, grab your brothers broken arrows from his basement....... I have my stash for the super I'm building......

The whole arrow. Think of it this way, that's 36" usually of tubing and I think they sell for about $4.00 for the practice ones. I have some smaller ones I bought for the kids little bows and I think they were $2.50 |
