| titans in a clod
Hello- I'm currently running epic acronite motors (19t, single wind modified) on 7 cells. I would like a little more speed and keep the same or more punch. My new chassis is set up for dual 6 cell packs. I was looking at using the e-maxx set-up because it's fairly cheap and can handle the voltage. I know nothing about the performance of these motors. Anyone with this set-up in there clod or any other suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.

Sorry for the lack of info. I uses it for bashing with the rare race sometimes. It's too heavy to be competitive. I was mainly wondering how the titans on 12 cells would compare to 19t modified singles on 7 cells and if I'm missing some other cheap set-up. Thanks

The Titan motors with dual batteries probably have about the same speed as your current set-up (maybe a little faster). Whatever you gain in speed, the weight of the dual battry packs will offset though. The Titan motors are also 550 sized motors, so make sure you have enough clearance between the end of the motor and the lower 4-link with your chassis setup. |
