| claw vs pimp cane
Hi there! I'm tired running leaking shocks and breaking links... So I decided to replace my 4 link chassis with a shockless one. Can u tell me the pros + cons of the pimp cane and the claw? Which one do u prefer? |

i dont have a claw but i have a 17in super pimpcane and it rocks i love it super simple but it is amazing on the rocks the more you run it the better it flexes. talk to jp customs he is on the venders page he will hook ya up on a pimpcane.

I have both, for me the cane is more predictable(although not as predictable as a regular dampened chassis), but it can fold on itself, if you bind up too far, unless you add some bracing to the steel bar, the pimp cane is awesome as you can't better clearance than that, you need to put time into drving and knowing both these chassis, but if i had to choose over the 2 , i think my pimp cane gets the nod, not by much though.

i love my claw. and won the 08 TXRCRCA state finals and nationals invite with it(super class). ive modified mine though, more belly clearance than a stick or cane. also a TON of flex, something i like with my driving style. many do not. http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/7...rrings4wu9.jpg Last edited by STANG KILLA SS; 09-19-2008 at 01:19 PM. |

I just ordered the Claw 50/50 set up. I was torn between the Hustler and the Claw. I already own two CPE Terminator chassies and have been very happy with them. CPE makes real good quality stuff and gives you the most bang for the buck. Brett is a great guy and is very helpful with any questions you may have. I will post pics as I progress with the build. I am a man of many projects right now so it will be awhile until I finish the build.
