| Very strange motor/axle issue
This might be normal, not sure. My setup consist of a Traxxas EVX2, new Integy 35T motors, and 8t pinions. I installed my motors and the truck drives fine, I turn the truck off and dissconnect the battery, and if I grab the front wheel and turn it by hand there is a fair amount of resistance, if I turn it fast enough the rear wheels will start to turn with the front I was surprised because of course the Clods axles are independent of one another. Then if I dissconnect one of the motor wires there is way less resistance when I turn the wheel and the rear wheels will not turn with the fronts anymore. Is this normal with an EVX2 esc? |

I think what you are seeing is a generator when you turn the wheels. Its inducing a voltage into the other motor which is causing it to turn.

When you turn the one set of tires you are creating a generator effect that is feeding into the other motor causing it to turn. It is completely normal. |

It is pretty weird/cool the first time you see it. I wonder if this has something to do with clod stall? Has anyone tried using a power capacitator on the rear motor? That way when the front spins fast and rear starts to stall the power capacitator would release the stored charge and give a little bump in voltage to the rear motor. Then again, if you mention clod stall the first answer youll get is, buy a 4 ch stick radio.
