Unhappy My first time out with my redone clod :(

So after completely redoing my Stick Clod i took it out for the first time within a YEAR i was crawling in a huge old flood river with big/small rocks and everything in between i had been to the spot for maybe 5 minutes and started climbing up the first trail i got right to the top and gave it a little to much trigger and it flipped doing this :-(

i was so mad/sad i didnt know what to do so i sat there for a good 20 minutes soaking it all up

needless to say i got all the parts ordered and they should be on there way..

P.S. if anyone has any metal Knuckles or tubes Used/new that would like to get read of shoot me a PM..i ordered ummm 5$ plastic ones moneys tight right now but im having second thoughts about breaking another..

Yep Should have....

I carry two different Clod Tubes and Knuckles.

Crawling is all preventing breakage. If it breaks.. You just found the weakest link... All it is... Is one huge Cylce...

Hey bro sh!t happens
My newest crawler was wrote off in its first comp
It was a fresh build just put a G-note into it and I was doing pretty good
Then on course 4 I fell off a ledge twice 20ft drop..ya I ended up taking the gate
End result
:Bent the chassis like a banana...My digg quit working
:bent upper links
:bent outer axle shafts....they were freshly rebuilt
:servo mounting plate snapped mounting tabs out of the front housing
:popped 2 beads...LOL
I zapped strapped the servo plate back on and came in 13 over all and 10 in points..Its hard to get through a gate when your truck dog tracks..haha

Its the nature of the beast
Plus the wife felt really sorry for me and gave me full permission to rebuild
If your married it helps when she's on your side

I know the feeling, spent quite a bit of time making up a new chassis to convert to a 2.2, wanted to get some video so I charged up a bunch of packs, headed down to the park with the camera, and broke one of my last two knuckles in the first five minutes. It's gonna be international shipping for me to get aluminum knuckles, so it's just been sitting on the shelf since.

Count yourself as one of the lucky ones .

Like R2J put it, driving is the shortest way to find the weakest link. Drive it, break it, buy better parts for the next run .
