| Super Class K2-5 Custom Clod
I've been wanting to build another clod that I could be competitive with in Supers. With alot of thought into this prior to the build I think I've come up with one heck of a rig. I chose the K2-5 chassis from REIGN because I really liked the idea of mounting my shocks on the axles instead of the lower links. With this chassis, it allows me to modify the lenth to my desired shock angle. SPECS: Chassis - K2-5 Tires - PL Moab XL's Wheels - Axial 40 series narrowed beadlocks Wheel adapters - RCP 12-17mm delrin ESC - Mamba Max BEC - Castle x 2 Axles - Clod W/ Integy aluminum Caster set Shocks - Losi 4" Upper link mounts - G-Made Servos - JR 8711 Motors - Integy 55t Lower links - 1/2" delrin Upper links - 3/8" delrin Wheelbase - 17-7/8" Trac width - 14-5/8" On to some pics Last edited by Sparky J; 11-20-2008 at 06:09 PM. |

I've seen that rig before, and it beat me!! Not this weekend with your inferior Moab tires!! Sure looks clean Sparky, I wish my wiring could look that nice. Are your axle tubes aluminum? |

Sweet rig bro! Driving your crawler is the reason I have parts on order for my first super build. |

Looks great J.... but it looks well... too long! Maybe it's just the angle but it doesn't look like a 14'er to me. |

Nice build. The Reign Chassis are great for Clod's, aren't they?

Thank you for posting so many detailed pictures of your Super. In examining photos of your Super last, I figured out how to wire my own. I had tried to finish my Super back in July and ended up nuking both my Hitec steering servos within seconds due to incorrect wiring. After duplicating your wiring today in my own Super, I was able to run my first battery pack through it. Thank you for your thread and you have a very nice Super . |

| I've built a few REIGN chassis and have never been disapointed. The K2-5 worked out really well for this clod build Last edited by Sparky J; 12-02-2008 at 05:37 PM. |
