| 13 pinion front 9 rear, range too big????
Short and sweet clod stall issue. I have 13 tooth pinions and 9 tooth pinions. I have stalling issues with my 50t motors when i have same pinions front rear. I want to try the bigger pin in the front, but Is the range too big. I now i can try it but if the range is way too big I wont bother.

It will still work but you can't get rid of clod stall completely you can only lessen it. Use it to your advantage it will help on steep climbs that with out stall you would flip over.

Are you running super or 2.2 ? 13 tooth is alot steep for a 50 turn and super tires and it's a little steep for 2.2 ... I run Super and 2.2 with clod axles Super is 10 tooth front and 8 tooth rear 2.2 runs 10 tooth front and 9 tooth rear almost non-noticeable clod stall ...and both still have really good wheel speed. |

not to hijack the thread but i got a 2.2 clod and was thinking of the same idea. i got 9 tooths in both cases but i was thinking of running the front up to ten or dropping the rear to 8.

10 tooth front and 9 tooth rear work really well with 5.25" tires
