Default Gecko or Rockbull chassis?

hi guys,

well i need some more help as i'm just getting into this rock crawling business!!

i'm after a chassis around the $200 mark to me thats around £110

the two i'm mainly interested in are the rockbull chassis and the gecko chassis.

so hopefully you guys can help me out!!!

Also if you recommend that i should build my own please advise me on how to do such things?

Also what tools would be needed to do this?

Were could i get materials from?

Thanks

The Gecko has been around for a while, and is really a well proven design. If it were me I'd go with the Gecko Pro kit. It's a little more money than you wanted to spend, but if you figure all the extras that come with it I am sure you'll end up about the same.

Go with the rock bull over the gecko. The quaility of the Rockbull is far better than the gecko.

I've got a Gecko II and it's great. But I don't think I would buy one again. I need a servo mount and they won't sell one. Have to buy another steering kit. Or build one they say after waiting a week for a reply. So if you need anything in the future for a Gecko, I guess your screwed for company support!

Make your own servo mount, it's pretty easy.
