"free wheel "with DIG

My 2.2 clod has,
2x55t,
rooster crawler ,
9 pinion front,
8 pinion rear,
micdo switch and servo.

With a switch i dont get "free wheel",the wheels just drag, how do you get the rear wheels to just free wheel for climbing up hills?:-(

I will wire up another switch to lock wheels when i get the rears to Roll!

Cheers vip.

I don't think you can with a MOA setup.... but I could be wrong.

no free-wheel with the clod, sorry.

You can not free wheel clod

you can disengage power to motor and change pinion to stock 13t - its as close to freewheel as you can get.

If you connect + and - in the motor then it brakes the axle when using a dig

If you get a Switch that doesn't ground the Rear motor out. You can play with Pinion Mesh and other things to DIG. But also will give just enough to roll a little when pulled hard on during Ledge Climbs.

Cheers run2jeepn,

I guess if i stick a 9 pinion in the rear it will help.
Ive got a switch disconnecting the earth on the rear motor at the moment.

I have a switch that disrupts the power to the rear motor but it does not lock it up completely. I am using 9 tooth pins and 50 turn motors. Did I wire it wrong?

i ran two three position switches on one servo so that i would have semi free-wheel & magnetic ( motor ) dig and it worked ok but then realized i could run the semi free-wheel switch for rear dig and found it to be much more lucrative in the big scheme of things , search sorry for sayin it berg dig thread . Once you get used to it front and rear dig is ridiculously helpful , you can drag the front end one direction then push the rear end another ..."thumbsup"
