Okay, Here are my thoughts on the wheel situation... I'm going to try and turn this, ![]() into this... ![]() I figure if I paint the rings white, the inner wheel flat red, and leave the center cap chrome, it might come out lookin alright. And as the white paint eventually gets rubbed off the orange beadlock rings, it should look kinda like rust. I guess we'll see... ![]() -Pat |

Thanks! Its hard to tell, but thats actually flat red, and not as glossy as it looks in the pictures. I'm pretty happy with how it all turned out. And thanks for the compliments on my decorating... my wife and I refer to the basement as "Man Land" and its mostly a shrine to all things guinness, wild turkey, radio control, motorcycle, and kayak. -Pat |

What kind of aluminum axle tubes did you break?

I didn't break any aluminum ones, I broke the stock abs ones in the front that have been holdin on for the last year or so. Being that its just a beater, I hate to replace stuff until it ultimately "expires."

Does anyone think I'd notice a whole lot of difference between my current 645mg's, and say a 985mg? Or would it be minimal... ?

Nice clod. Hows the cpe frame holding up? I am shopping for a frame now since I sold my tuber but never owned a cpe product. I ran stock gearcases and integy axle tubes for years with no problems, maybe the one thing integy did ok lol. |

Thanks! It seems to be doing pretty well so far. Its too slow between the 55T motors, and the portal knuckles to really do any kind of damage speed wise, rolling down a hill or steps is about as precarious a situation as it gets into. Its a little on the tall side, but for a basher it does very well.
