Does the clod have bad steering? I am looking at one right now for VERY cheap, but the steering is all jacked. I t turens to the left just fine, but not to the right. Also, my old Clod had a similar problem with it... The clod I am looking at is a stocker. What do I have to do to make it crawl worthy? Lock axles New chassis link mount on top of axle new shocks What else??? Can someone give me some advice on how to build this? I also want to gear down. How do I do this? Can I regear the pigs, or do mI have to regear the tranny? Thanks dIma

The steering depends on how it is setup. If it is turning one way, then there is something messed up with the setup (it shouldn't be hard for you to fix). 2 wheel steering won't turn as sharp as a 4 wheel steering setup. If you haven't seen the thread on how to build a clod crawler, check it out: How to build a Clodbuster Rock Crawler The easiest way to gear down is to use a smaller pinion gear. I use 8 tooths in the front and rear. But a popular setup is to use a 10 in the front and a 9 in the rear. A few people have made their own reduction units you can check out here: homemade clod reduction help!

a possibility for bad steering problems is the way you mounted the steering links to the servo.
