Default is it possible.....

...to run clod axles under that wally world 4-door jk ? I have one sitting around and a set of clod axles but i'm thinking it's gonna be too wide unless there's a wheel that can get it narrow enough. I like the tires under the flares or stickin out a couple mm's.

That's my own build, but not the body i'm speaking of. I'm talking about the 4-door JK that everyone bulk-bought from walmart.com the past couple weeks. The red one with the removable top.

I think it's 1/8 or 1/10.

Well, if you think that the axles are too wide, you can always narrow them...

Here is what I did to narrow my 2.2 clod down:
New Build

What exactly did you do? I don't have cvd's, just regular clod axles. Isn't there shorter axle tubes that i could use? i swear i saw them somewhere but i cannot remember where.

I chopped down my TTR CVD's (and the bolts, of course) and cut a 14mm Losi Hex in half and I run the Mayhem narrow 2.2 Clod 14mm beadlocks.

I think Integy might make some new narrow tubes, but the ones that I am using are from JP.
