Default Super Axle Options

Are there any other comp worthy axles out there? The Integy SS01 Crawler looks like it has a lower profile gearbox on it. However, I cannot find any info on the gearboxes except for a few part numbers on Integys website. I have been waiting for the wider Bully Axles and Hot Racing has some in the works. Does anyone have any options that I'm not thinking of? Thanks.

it seems that most people's opinion is that clod axles are the best way to go on a super.

It's hard to beat the proven durability and relaibility of the stock Clod axles. I haven't seen these new Integy axles with the lower profile gearcase. Do you have a link?

Are the stock plastic axle tubes strong enough or will I need to buy the aluminum ones? I have already bought Integy servo mounts and axle braces. I just wanted to make sure the Clod axles were going to be worth putting the money into. Long live the Super Class!

I have been running the same Clod axles in my super trucks for the past 4 years. Plastic tubes, stock knuckles, and stock axles. If you don't hammer on your truck too badly the stock stuff works fine.

Probably going to run stock gearboxes for now so I can start tuning the chassis sooner. I'm deffinately going to do knuckles and CVD's if I can find any.
