Default Breaking Knuckles

Other then buying aluminum axle tubes, what's everyone doing to prevent from breaking knuckles. The stock ones are breaking everytime I go out.

Do these things actually help out?

They either break right at the hole where my support and links mount, or right at the bend.

I'm working on fitting some 1/4 scale servos on my clod and I'm going to make new axle braces that mount similar to the stock ones but also mount to the top ear of the knuckle. I've had a couple tubes break there and I figured if I was going to make new braces might as well beef up the axle top.

get aluminum knuckles and c axle tubes. those support braces you have pictured will help a bit, but on high impacts the c axle tubing still breaks.

i use the ttr axle brace combo and it does help.at the last mj i went to me and my son broke 3 tubes at the race but didn;t find out they actually broke untill later on after i got home and getting them ready for next years race.the braces actually held the c-brace together and if i didn't look real close i would've missed it.it drove fine like that but i changed them as i didn't want them to let go at a race.
i like the ttr cause they use a brace on both sides of the tube and the cf support(which can be bought with out if you don't want it)

Nothing, I've only ever broken 1 axle C. I'd try those braces you found and be sure to not overtighten the nut for the link mount. Just barely tighten it and use a thread locking compound.

I talked to Fish about it also and he says the stub axle may be in a tiny bit more than it should. That would cause binding when you turn.
